Hello friends! I apologize for the lapse in writing the last couple weeks. I’ve been super busy at work and my hobby had to take a bit of a back seat. I am taking a well deserved break this weekend this weekend though and enjoying this gorgeous weather! I am also continuing to enjoy the flavors of the season. This weekend I made up a pitcher of Cider Sangria. This blend incorporates the best of the fall flavors in a nice adult beverage.
To make you will need:
1 bottle white wine (I used a Chardonnay)
1/2 gallon apple cider
1 1/2 cups fresh whole cranberries
1 granny smith apple
1 red pear
Mix together the cider & wine. Chop the apple & pear into small-medium sized chunks and add to the cider/wine mixture. Add in the cranberries and stir. The fruit will rise to the top. Refrigerate for a half hour or so before serving to give the flavors a little time to blend. Serve chilled and enjoy!
